Celebrating Feast of St Angela

After the mass to celebrate the Feast of St Angela Merici, parishioners enjoyed a wonderful supper prepared by the Angelinas and the contributions of others attending.

Sr Zela also announced the new Ursuline website (www.ursulines.co.uk) which shows the many and varied ways in which the Ursuline sisters live out their vocation. 

The following message is on an image of Angela, in January's meditation we are asked what our response might be: 
DO SOMETHING WORTHWHILE WITH YOUR LIFE, GET MOVING, BE CONFIDENT, TAKE RISKS – TRY SOMETHING NEW, STICK WITH IT GET ON YOUR KNEES, THEN BE READY FOR A BIG SURPRISE! 

The sisters have also prepared a visual display with further details about the life of St Angela Merici which can be seen in St Thomas More's.
