This morning the Bishop confirmed nine young people and an adult - completing their initiation into the Catholic church. The Bishop reminded them of the words Jesus spoke to his disciples tell them that they were now witnesses of the Gospel message.  Although this can seem like a challenge, he reminded all present that Jesus does not leave us to do this alone but sends forth his Holy Spirit. Please remember in your prayers all those confirmed today, their journey of faith continues as they continue existing acts of service and take on new ones - and take on this extra role of being a witness.
