Called Today are you listening?

Fr Andrew Alman:
Lancaster Diocese Vocations Director
On Sunday we listened to a pastoral letter from Bishop Michael Campbell about vocations which you can read here
Today continuing the theme from Sunday's Gospel a message from the Diocesan Vocations Director, a familiar face for Cathedral parishioners writes:

"Jesus, the Good Shepherd, knows His flock. Because He knows us, He understands what is best for us. Because He loves us, He only wants what will bring us true and lasting happiness. ‘The sheep that belong to me listen to my voice’, He says. Knowing Him, trusting Him, listening to His voice: this is the way to discover our call in life, and in answering it, find true and lasting happiness".

Please pray that all people may be open to God’s will, and may find fulfilment by answering His call.
