Come Holy Spirit bring us your gift of patience

“Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them– every day begin the task anew.”  St Francis de Sales
Today a song about waiting patiently and serving the Lord. Dor  link to video While I'm waiting - John Waller and link to the lyrics.

Fruit of the Holy Spirit - Patience
Scripture reading Romans 8: 24-25
Let us give thanks to the Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead to save us all.  We ask you send your gift of Patience to us.  Help us to learn to wait patiently and to place our hope in you.  Please give us the patience of the saints who are now with you in heaven.
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
