On the feast of St Benedict, children who had made their first holy communion and young people who had been confirmed this year gather for a celebration Mass at St Thomas More's. At the end of Mass Fr Stewart presented all our young people with certificates to commemorate the sacraments they had received in the past few months. On behalf of the parish he also thanked the parents for fulfilling the promises they had made at their child's baptism and the catechists for helping with sacramental preparation.
The weather was beautiful and afterwards there was an opportunity for everyone to spend time in the garden.
