Chapter Mass
Tuesday 25th November the 12.15 mass will be the annual Chapter Mass for deceased bishops, priests, deacons and religious of the Diocese.
Bishop Michael Campbell will preside at mass.
Weather permitting, following mass there will be a procession to the cemetery where prayers for the dead will be offered.
All are welcome to attend mass and join the procession to the cemetery for prayers.

Book of the dead
During November the book of the dead is moved from its usual location in one of the side chapels and displayed on the altar.
Eternal rest, grant unto them O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them, may they rest in peace. Amen

Cathedral Book of Remembrance
Thank you to those people who have responded so far. We now have a working list of nearly 150 Lancaster Catholics for WW1 and 42 for WW2. There is a ring binder on the table at the back of the Cathedral which will be added to over time. Do have a look at it to see if any of your family appear on the lists. If you have any information about any of the men please see contact details in newsletter 23rd November.
