The children of the parish who gather each Sunday for their own liturgy of the Word have been preparing through Advent for the coming of Jesus at Christmas. On this Christmas eve many will also be hanging up their stockings and sacks by the Christmas tree, hoping that Fr Christmas will visit bring them gifts! Of course the greatest gift will be that of Jesus coming ... the love shared among us. In thinking about Christmas they have made the parish and readers of our parish blog a Christmas tree, decorated by themselves with baubles representing themselves. So on behalf of the children of the parish:

Throughout Advent the children have been remembering children everywhere and we ask you to remember these children and all children throughout the world, especially those who are in physical, emotional and spiritual need.
