Bringing gifts for Jesus

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany, when the wise men came to visit Jesus, to worship him and bring him gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh.  In children's liturgy we jumped for joy and like the angels sang our Gloria.  We then thought about the gifts we could give to Jesus, a smile, a helping hand, saying our prayers, loving others ... The children then processed into church following our own star, carrying the gifts of the three wise men and those we wanted to give to Jesus.
