Today we gathered to celebrate Palm Sunday, to join Jesus on his triumphant journey into Jerusalem and then to listen to the Passion telling of the events of Holy Week. Some of the highlights are captured in the short video.
Key Stage 3 children from the Cathedral primary school joined in with the reading of the passion playing the crowd, and the younger children came through for their own Children's Liturgy where we had our own Palm procession and then went through the events of Holy Week upto the Last Supper including the washing of the feet and the institution of the Eucharist. On Good Friday we will pray the stations of the cross, starting at 3.00pm.
