Families gathered today for children's liturgy where we went on a journey with Jesus and joined him for Stations of the Cross.
As Jesus fell the first time, children shared the things they found hard, and when thinking about how Simon helped Jesus carry his cross they talked about who had helped them, and how they had helped their friends and family. We also remembered in our prayers all the people who are sick and those who are caring for them.
At the end we shared a sign of peace, remembering that in three days Jesus will rise again ... and that his first words were Peace be with you.
