Bishop Paul Swarbrick's weekly encouragement

This afternoon Bishop Paul Swarbrick visited the Cathedral to deliver his weekly talk and to lead us in silent prayer.  Today he reminded us of the great feast of the Holy Trinity celebrated yesterday, and spoke about the recent events acknowledging that # Black Lives Matter.

He also mentioned the announcement that subject to careful controls churches will be able to open for prayer from 15th June, this indeed will be a great joy, but will require us all to follow guidelines which will be shared here and on the Parish website.

For today, Bishop Paul's message is one of encouragement for us to place our fears, our concerns and needs in the hands of the Lord.
