Alleliua, Jesus Christ is risen today.
Alleluia Alleluia Alleluia. He is Risen. Alleluia Alleluia Alleluia. Easter greetings to all our people. May you be blessed with the grace of new life during this holy season and beyond. Your parish Clergy.
Wishing all Cathedral Parishioners and readers of this blog the peace and joy and blessings of Easter. Over the past Holy Week parishioners have gathered with Bishop Paul, Fr Steve, Fr John-Paul and Deacon Jim to journey from Palm Sunday through the events of the Triduum. Many have helped to make this possible, those who have stewarded and prepared and cleaned the Cathedral, those who have supported with music, prepared service sheets and thought through the logistics.
For those who gathered together you were our visible sign of the parish family community, for others it was a blessing to watch from home looking forward to when we can gather together as one. Together we can celebrate the eight days of Easter joyfully, singing Alleliua.
To get a sense of the joy of the risen Lord, this short film captures some of the emotions that Mary, Peter and John felt on finding Jesus was no longer in the tomb.
