World Day of Migrants - Towards an ever wider 'we'

Today we celebrate the 107th World Day of Migrants and Refugees 2021 is celebrated on 26 September - the last Sunday of the month. The theme 'Towards an ever wider "we"' chosen by Pope Francis connects well with the theme of the season of creation, our common home where together we can value and welcome everyone. In this short video Pope Francis suggests we are all unique and like grains of sand that together as a we form a wonderful beach. But for those with a little more time to spare, Pope Francis' letter explains further how and why this day is important and offers ideas for how we can live our our baptismal promises.

I ask all the men and women of the world to make good use of the gifts that the Lord has entrusted to us to preserve and make even more beautiful His creation. Pope Francis
