Advent 3: Joy

We light the rose candle of joy
on our Advent wreath 

This week is known as Gaudate Sunday, which means rejoice. The priest wears rose coloured vestments and lights the rose or pink candle on our Advent wreath.  We are fortunate to have a splendid wreath which surrounds the Ambo where the readings during Mass are read.
