Palm Sunday: Waiving Palms to welcome Jesus

Yesterday we gathered outside Lancaster Cathedral in the sunshine and listened to Mark's Gospel of Jesus entry into Jerusalem, we had our palms blessed and then processed into the Cathedral singing, All Glory Laud and Honour. “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest heaven!"

Our children the came to Children's Liturgy: Follow Me where we learned signs and sang 'Sing Hosanna to our King' to prepare for our own welcome of Jesus who waved to the crowds as we sang.
