A silver anniversary

Last Saturday at the celebration of Sr Maureen's Golden Jubilee, Sr Zela made another presentation, this time to a couple who had recently celebrated their silver wedding anniversary on April 25th and who have contributed so much to the parish of St Thomas More. Maureen an adult companion of the Impact Group (see link for more information) and Michael whose skills as Mr Fix it have often been needed.
Michael and Maureen
They were married at Sacred Heart church in Liverpool by Fr Michael O'Connell (MSC) now vocations director for Missionaries of the Sacred Heart in Co Cork.

When asked about the joys of the last 25 years, they of course mentioned their two children Bridget and Joseph and talked of the family and friends who had supported them over the years, some of whom have now passed away but who are still remembered for their support.

So having celebrated 25 years = 788,923,149 seconds (see link to post about Sr Maureen) we remember Michael and Maureen, and all those who are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this year. We pray that the Lord will continue to be with them as they seek to live out their vocation to live together in good times and bad and grant them health and happiness in the future.
