Our Lady Star of the Sea

A parishioner sent the cartoon after their visit to Our Lady Star of the Sea, Lytham St Annes. Find out what they sent instead of the keys of St Peter.
Check out the cartoon below to see what the church looks inside.

Did you know?

  • Star of the Sea was a title given to Mary.
  • In Latin it means Stella Maris.
  • Feast day of Stella Maris is 27th September
  • She is the patron of the Apostleship of the Sea which is a charity supporting those at sea, click here for more information.
We remember all those at sea or affected by the power of the sea, especially those affected by Hurricaine Isaac in America.
Our Lady, Star of the Sea parish website explains how they are a parish with a ...vision of faith, ...formed in loved... lived in hope For more information about the parish history click here
