St Peter's Key in Germany

The Parker family visited a number of churches during their holiday in Germany.  This is the St. Mary's Church, Celle, Saxony in Germany. 
From the outside this church looks quite simple, but inside it was full of ornate decoration, images of the saints, and symbols of faith.  A pulpit with the four Gospel writers standing around the outside.

Above the altar you can see a crucifix with Mary and the Beloved disciple.  In white marble to the right is St Paul and just out of view to the right is St Peter. For a close up click hereWe can also see keys from the Parker family! - in place of St Peter's keys.  

Below, Joanne, who is a catechist on the Confirmation programme, St Peter's Way, points out images St Peter, from the saints and martyrs that surround the outside of the church.
