Follow Me

Children's Liturgy acting out the Gospel
Last Sunday in children's Liturgy we used puppets to act out the Gospel story and help us to think about how the rich young man felt when Jesus told him he had to follow the commandments and give up all his possessions if he wanted to enter the Kingdom of God.
Although money might not be the distraction for the children, we talked about the other things in our life which might distract us and stop us from remembering to follow Jesus and our neighbour.
Focal Table
Children's Liturgy: What do we do?

Did you know, in children's liturgy we listen to the same Gospel as the adults and we also say our bidding prayers.
Last Sunday we prayed for:
- Bishop Michael Campbell who is in the Synod for the New Evangelisation in Rome (click here for the Bishop's Blog)
- Sr Zela's example of following Jesus and asked God to be with her as she leaves Lancaster to go to London
- ourselves and our parish that we might not get distracted by things and remember to follow Jesus' call to love one another.
