This Sunday we hear about the transfiguration of Christ. This is always the reading for the second Sunday of Lent and this year because we are in year B, we hear the version from Mark's Gospel. There are many paintings of this famous episode in Jesus' life and those of his disciples, Peter, James and John, the reflection uses Francesco Zuccarelli, “Landscape with the Transfiguration of Christ,” by 1788 to help us to understand more about this event.
