Next Monday 14th September we celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross where we lift high the cross as a reminder that Jesus died to give us eternal life. In church we have many reminders and images of the cross, even on the top of the Cathedral there is a cross.
However, one parishioner spotted a cross in nature. Eagle eyed Douglas found an amazing stone which symbolizes so many things:

- A heart as a reminder of God's love for us
- A cross reminding us that Jesus died on the cross to save us all
- And a web of lines as a reminder of the web of life and the journey of faith we are on.
