This week, the power of the candle was more evident as much of Lancaster was plunged into darkness. The children listened to a message from John the Baptist who asked them to prepare a way, they also thought about the gift of peace on their Advent Candle. On their paper chain that they are preparing for Christmas they have been sharing the things they hope for and the things that they can do to bring peace.
