What abusy week ahead. Before we start the Year of Faith, we have the celebration of the Dedication of the Cathedral on Sunday 7th October. Last Sunday we were reminded that this is a day of thanksgiving when we should pray for the people of faith who have gone before us and who built our church, those who are part of our faith community today and the faithful who will gather in the future to celebrate Mass and receive the sacraments.
Sunday 7th October - Feast of Dedication
After the 10.30 Mass on Sunday 7th October there will be a brunch, tickets cost £2.50 or £10 for a family. In the afternoon there will be vespers (evening prayer) a time. All are welcome.
Thursday 11th October - Year of Faith Day of Prayer
